The talk will take the form of a Q & A session on the topic of life extension.

What might a prolonged life feel like?

Does adding some extra time to life make any difference for procrastinators? Isn’t the act of rehearsing – the ongoing act of practicing – making the fact of the deadline absent?

While the point of departure of the discussion will be the artist’s current experience of accordion rehearsing, the discussion itself will be a rehearsal for future performances.

Darius Mikšys is artist-in-residency at BAC during April and May 2010. He has been invited to BAC as part of the Artist-in-Residence program for Nordic and Baltic artists funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers.
